What is vitamin D?
Vitamin D is often referred as the sunshine vitamin as it is synthesised in the skin via exposure to sunlight. Unfortunately in the UK, we don't get enough body levels of this important vitamin. This is why Public Health England recommends that vitamin D supplements should be taken by all. This important vitamin helps the absorption of calcium in the body which is essential for your bones and teeth. It also supports your muscles and immune health.
